Over two decades of work in personal finance, with clients ranging from people with significant debt to significant ($40 million+) assets and everything in between.
I have worked for a large firm, started and ran a solo financial advising practice, and twice attempted startups around my passion to see personalized financial planning be more affordable and more accessible.
Passed the CFP (Certification in Financial Planning) exam
MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business
You can read more about what it is like to work with me from 5 star Yelp reviews of my prior business (which I closed to work on the tech start-up).

Healing Education and Experience:
My mother’s terminal cancer diagnosis and subsequent death in 2010 felt so impossible to hold that it demanded I find a new way of existing. Since then I have been committed to my personal healing journey, which has led to living a more aligned, heart centered life and means I show up grounded, calm, and non-judgmental for my clients. One of my favorite compliments I receive regularly is that I’m a great listener and people feel a deep current of support as they share their challenges with me. My healing work has included:
Cultivating a daily meditation practice, which began with a 10 day silent Vipassana course in 2013.
Studying and practicing Reiki under the guidance of the incredible Starnation Reiki
Plant healing work in the Amazon
Exploring my racial biases and educating myself on racism through organized classes and independent reading
Embracing the healing power of simply resting in nature, most frequently in Mt Shasta
Trauma healing
Embodiment work
Cold water swimming
My daily practice currently includes meditation, movement, and taking time to listen to my voice and the voices of those I admire and respect.
My Approach
We all have a relationship with money, as influenced by our family, community, culture, religion, school and society. Often financial advice simply focuses on numbers and what one “should” do. Yet this ignornes the mindset that is running the show, often from “backstage.” I combine concreate tools and a practical, fact and numbers based approach with an exploration and excavation of the feelings and more hidden (yet powerful!) beliefs in order to truly help you navigate your money relationship from all sides.
“Leslie is a miracle worker with guiding you to uncover your blind spots and step into financial health and wellness from a gentle, empowered and strategic place. Overall, I highly recommend this class to anyone looking to improve their financial mindset and relationship with money. It's an investment in yourself that will yield positive lasting results.”
